When we look at John 14:16, Jesus clearly states — I will ask the Father, and He will give you another advocate to help you and be with your forever. John 14:26, Jesus says the Advocate, The Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you. As, Holy Spirit works in us in many different ways and everyone have a spirit of truth which guide us to go in a path of goodness.
Did you accept him in your life? when we look at John 14:17, The world cannot accept him because it neither sees him nor known him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be in you. Did you receive the Holy Spirit in your life? When we receive the Holy Spirit in our life, we will have a new life, new spirit, and new path.
We need to remember from 1 Corinthians 6:19, the verse clearly states — Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own. This verse, explains that our bodies are temples which means it is the most holy place for the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit, we have received is not because our good deeds but, it is because of the heavenly Father who gave us the spirit of truth through Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ has sacrifice his own life for us and He brought us with a valuable price.

The Works of Holy Spirit — John 16:13 But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes he will guide you into all the truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come. Romans 8:26 -27, In the same way, the spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans. And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the spirit, because the spirit intercedes for God’s people in accordance with the will of God.

Galatians 5:22-23, But the fruit of spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. 1 Corinthians 2:10-11, these are the things God has revealed to us by his Spirit. The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God. For who knows a person’s thoughts except their own spirit within them? In the same way no one knows the thoughts of God except the spirit of God. 2 Timothy 1:7 For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline. 1 Corinthians 2:14, This is what we speak, not in words taught us by human wisdom but in words taught by the Spirit, explaining spiritual realities with Spirit-taught words.
We do receive the gifts from the Holy Spirit — Gift of Wisdom to value the things of God, Gift of Understanding of the word of God, Gift of Counsel to make wise decisions, Gift of Fortitude helps us to overcome difficulties with our faith, Gift of Knowledge to see the world from God’s perspective, Gift of Piety to love and serve God, Gift of Fear of the Lord to obey the greater willingness to follow God’s commands and teaching, and to avoid sin and anything that could separate them from God.
The Gift of Healing to heal physical and emotional or spiritual through our prayer and with our faith. Gift of Prophecy is about receiving and communicating messages from God, Gift of speaking of tongues and interpretation of tongues is about speaking and understanding the real meaning of unknown languages. Gift of Discernment it the ability of having spiritual insights and spiritual warfare and a sense of protection from recognizing the false teachings, and guidance and direction according to God’s will.
Holy Spirit helps us to convict our sins and help us guiding through the process of repentance and teach us to lead our life of righteousness, and It helps us to understand the truth of God’s word and gives us a assurance of our salvation with conformation that we are the children of God. It helps our life by transforming and renewing our minds and our heart so clean and pure.
By allowing the Holy Spirit to work in and through us, we will able to experience a new purpose that has been set for us. This will transform our life in new ways and enables us to reflect our character. Through our Holy Spirit we are continually renewed, strengthened, and fulfill by God’s given purpose and bringing glory to His name.
Romans 15:13, May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
