The Role of Father — Our Father Our Lord has been called with so many names — Alpha & Omega (Beginning and the End), Rapha ( the Healer ), Jireh ( the Provider ), El-Shaddai ( God Almighty ), Elohim ( The Creator ), Adonai ( Lord Master ), El- Roi ( The God who sees ), Jehovah ( Self Existent One ), Shalom ( Lord is Peace ), El-Gibhor ( The Mighty God), Nissi ( Our Banner ), Shammah ( Lord is there ), Yahweh ( He brings into existence whatever exists ).

UNDERSTANDING GOD’S CREATION

To understand the Role of Father — You need to read the Book of Genesis chapter 1. When you start to read the chapter you will clearly see the presence of Father and the beginning of His works. Before looking into Genesis look at, Isaiah 45:12 where God says, He himself made the earth and created mankind. With his own hands He stretched out the heavens and all will be at his command. 

Now, In the book of Genesis —Look at chapter 1 — You will see Father’s works. How He created the heaven and earth. You will also see how he have separated the light from the darkness and you will see how light called as day(Morning) and darkness called as Night. Not only that you will also understand how waters been separated water from water. And how the land produce plants and trees. 

You will understand how the living creatures like animals and birds has a life on earth. Now, you see yourself in the mirror, and read the Genesis 1:27 verse, you will know how valuable and worthy we are been created in His image.

The Unchanging Faithfulness of God

When we look at Bible verse John 3:16 — We will know how much God has loved the world and his creation. So, He could not see his creation is being ruined and committing all sins. So, He loved us so much that He sent his one and only Son(Jesus Christ) to the world. There so many Bible verses about the Father. In each verses, we will see his love towards us, His plans are been established and he is being doing all work for us. Let me tell you some more bible verses from Revelation 1:8, 21:6, 22:13 – where God clearly states, I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, the First and the Last.

Understanding God’s Nature

If we start reading Bible we will know about the Father, Our Lord in many verses. From Romans 1:20, Since the creation of the world we will see and understand God’s invisible qualities and his eternal power and his divine nature. Psalms 104:5, As God set the earth on its foundation, it can never be moved. John 1:4 – In Him was the life, and that life was the light of all mankind. Psalms 95:6, Let us bow down and worship our God, our Lord and Our Maker. Isaiah 40:28, Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the end of the earth. 

Understanding GOD’S POWER AND PRESENCE

Moreover from Hosea 12:5, The Lord God is Almighty, the Lord is his name. Exodus 15:3, The Lord is the warrior, the Lord is his name. Colossians 1:16, For in Him all things were created, things in heaven and earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him. Colossians 1:17, He is before all things, and in him all things hold together. Psalms 29:4, The voice of the Lord is powerful, the voice of the Lord is majestic. John 1:3, Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. Hebrews 3:4, For every house is built by someone, but God is the builder of everything. Psalms 29:1, The Lord gives strength to his people, the Lord blesses his people with peace. 

2 Samuel 22:29, Lord is my lamp and the Lord turns my darkness into light. The deeper you read the bible, we clearly see Father is the Lord our God and also we know, He is so caring, loving, kind, gentle, compassionate, faithful, merciful, strong, powerful, and forgiving. Not only that, we will see, He is the Provider, Protector, Creator, Almighty God, All-knowing, and Everlasting. So, read more about the role of father from the bible, and gain the knowledge of wisdom from our Lord, Our God.
